Kingdom’s Biggest Ball Pit

Families looking to beat the summer heat now have a new destination to explore. City Centre Bahrain has unveiled what is being called the largest ball pit ever seen in the Kingdom, offering an immersive play experience for children until August 31st.

The colourful mega installation, set up in the Central Galleria, has been launched in partnership with Funtopia. It features thousands of plastic balls, padded space to dive, bounce, and roll, and vibrant photo opportunities that turn every visit into a memory-making moment.

Play meets reward

Access to the ball pit is available through a retail promotion. Shoppers who spend BD 30 anywhere in the mall can redeem their receipts at redemption desks to receive a free Funtopia entry voucher via SMS, which admits two children for a 30-minute play session.

Each family can claim up to two vouchers per day for purchases exceeding BD 60. The offer is appealing to shoppers as well as visitors seeking an air-conditioned activity for their children during the school break.

The activation is open to children taller than 70 cm and operates on timed sessions throughout the day to ensure crowd flow and comfort.

More than fun

The promotion also enters participants into a draw for a brand-new Nissan Patrol SE, adding another layer of incentive to shop and play. With themed décor, energy-packed zones, and a family-friendly vibe, the event fits into the mall’s broader summer campaign to enhance in-mall experiences.

An initiative by Majid Al Futtaim, which operates City Centre Bahrain and other flagship malls across the region, the installation is expected to be a major draw for families throughout the summer holiday season.
