Bahrain's Young Chess Stars Shine in Belgrade

Bahrain's Arjun's Chess Academy (ACA) has once again broadened the horizons for its promising young talents! As part of its annual summer exposure trip, ACA recently took a team of four dedicated students from Bahrain to Belgrade, Serbia, to compete in the prestigious Serbia Open 2025, held from July 14 to 24.

The participating students, Navaneet Sreekanth, Mikael Vivek Joseph, Gabriel Vivek Joseph, and Arnav Singh Dewan, were accompanied by their experienced coach and academy director, Arjun Kakkadath.

This exceptional opportunity allowed the students to compete in a world-class chess tournament, gaining invaluable experience by playing against international players. They also had the chance to immerse themselves in the intense atmosphere of high-level chess events. This kind of exposure is crucial for their overall development, significantly boosting their skills and confidence as competitive chess players.
