The Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA), in coordination with relevant departments and the Labor Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), conducted extensive inspection campaigns during the first half of 2025.
It was part of ongoing efforts to combat irregular employment and uphold Bahrain’s residency and labour regulations.
According to official figures, inspections were carried out on 98,428 individuals, resulting in the deportation of 6,988 violators who failed to comply with residency and labour laws.
Legal action was taken against all offenders in accordance with the Kingdom’s regulations.
The NPRA reaffirmed its commitment to intensifying these joint campaigns in cooperation with partner authorities to enhance community security, uphold the rule of law, and promote labour market stability.
