Muharraq Governorate has started checking swimming pools to make sure they are safe and clean for everyone during the summer holidays.
Brigadier Jassim bin Mohammed Al Ghatam, Deputy Governor of Muharraq, said that a special team is visiting pools across the governorate as part of a summer plan. These visits are being done with the help of other government departments.
The goal is to make sure all pools follow the rules for health and safety. If any pools are not licensed or break the rules, they will face legal action.
The team is checking for things like fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and rescue tools to make sure they are ready in case of an emergency. They are also inspecting electrical wires, gas pipes, and water quality to protect people using the pools.
This campaign is part of Muharraq’s effort to keep the community safe during the hot summer months.
