Following Iran’s missile strike targeting the U.S.- run Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar yesterday evening, four Gulf countries - Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Qatar - have reopened their skies after shortterm closures prompted by regional security concerns.
Bahrain lifted its airspace ban by yesterday night, resuming flights as the immediate threat abated.
The UAE confirmed resumed operations via Dubai Airports and Etihad Airways, with most flights reported to be rerouted through safe corridors.
Kuwait’s civil aviation regulator also reopened its airspace after safety checks.
