His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, highlighted the strength of the strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the US, which is built on mutually beneficial cooperation and longstanding agreements and close collaboration, including the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA). He underscored the importance of further strengthening this advanced partnership.
HRH Prince Salman was speaking as he met yesterday with a congressional delegation from the US, led by Representative Bradley Schneider, at Gudaibiya Palace.
During the meeting, issues of common interest, including the latest regional and international developments and their implications on security and stability, were discussed.
His Royal Highness reaffirmed the Kingdom’s position of resolving crises through dialogue and diplomatic means, including the continuation of US-Iran nuclear negotiations, and stressed the urgent need to end regional conflicts.
