His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the revered King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has issued a royal decree granting a special pardon to 209 inmates convicted in various cases. The decision includes individuals who have already served part of their sentences, as well as some who were serving under alternative sentencing programs.
This royal gesture reflects HM the King's long-standing tradition of compassion and his steadfast commitment to fostering hope, second chances, and community reintegration for those who have shown willingness to reform. It also underscores His Majesty’s vision of inclusive development, inviting all citizens — regardless of their past — to play a role in the continued growth and prosperity of Bahrain.
