Bahrain, Russia Explore New Avenues for Economic and Investment Cooperation

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received His Excellency Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, during the latter’s official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

His Majesty warmly welcomed the Russian minister, who conveyed greetings and best wishes from Russian President Vladimir Putin to Bahrain and its people. In return, HM the King extended his sincere regards and best wishes to President Putin and the Russian people.

During the meeting, HM the King praised the longstanding and historic relations between Bahrain and Russia, emphasizing the shared commitment to strengthening cooperation across various sectors. His Majesty expressed appreciation for President Putin's role in advancing bilateral ties and fostering mutual understanding.

The King noted the significance of high-level visits in promoting collaboration and achieving progress in strategic partnerships between the two nations.

For his part, Minister Reshetnikov expressed gratitude to HM the King for his continued support in enhancing the close relationship between Bahrain and Russia, particularly in the areas of economic development and investment.
