Bahrain’s Deputy Prime Minister Highlights Strong Ties with Thailand During Diplomatic Meeting

His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, reaffirmed the longstanding and cordial relations between Bahrain and the Kingdom of Thailand, emphasizing the mutual desire to enhance these ties through broader and more comprehensive cooperation that serves the shared interests of both nations and their peoples.

This statement came during a meeting held at Al-Qudaibiya Palace today, Thursday, where His Excellency welcomed the newly appointed Ambassador of Thailand to Bahrain, His Excellency Mr. Soomit Chulajata.

During the meeting, Sheikh Khalid warmly received the ambassador and extended his best wishes for success in carrying out his diplomatic mission. He also expressed hopes for continued efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various sectors, particularly in economic and investment fields, as well as other priority areas.

He stressed that Bahrain remains committed to deepening its relations with partners across Asia, in line with the Kingdom’s foreign policy of openness, balance, and a strong emphasis on dialogue, partnership, and sustainable development.

For his part, Ambassador Soomit Chulajata expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Deputy Prime Minister for the warm welcome and the support extended to him. He affirmed his dedication to enhancing bilateral relations in a way that fulfills the aspirations of both leaderships and peoples, wishing Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
