Over 13,000 registrations for eKey 2.0 in just one day

The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) Chief Executive, Mohammed Ali Al Qaed, has announced that registrations for the newly launched eKey 2.0 have surpassed 13,000 within just 24 hours of its official release.
Al Qaed emphasised that the overwhelming response reflects growing digital awareness among Bahrain’s citizens and residents, highlighting their eagerness to embrace modern technologies for streamlined access to government services.
Initial data indicates strong user engagement, reinforcing iGA’s efforts to drive digital transformation as part of the 2023-2026 government program.
