Indian Embassy in Bahrain celebrates Gandhi Jayanti and International Day of Non-Violence

On October 2, members of the Council of Representatives, including H.E. Mr. Abdulla Khalifa Al Romaihi, H.E. Mr. Mohamed Husain Janahi, and H.E. Mr. Hassan Eid Bukhammas, joined H.E. Vinod K. Jacob, Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain, in commemorating Mahatma Gandhi's 155th Birth Anniversary and the International Day of Non-Violence at the Indian Embassy.
The event was attended by officials from the Bahraini government and members of both the Indian and Bahraini communities. During the ceremony, the Ambassador and embassy officials laid flowers at the statue of Gandhi, followed by a bilingual welcome address from the Ambassador. The MPs reflected on Gandhi's lasting global legacy and his significant impact in the Arab world.
