The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) issued its instructions to all air carriers operating in the Kingdom's airports, regarding the lifting of the suspension of a direct entry to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from some banned countries.

The circular provides for direct entry to the Kingdom from the following countries: the Republic of Indonesia, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Federal Republic of Brazil, Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Arab Republic of Egypt, and the Republic of India, without the need to spend (14) days outside these countries before entering into the Kingdom.

This with the application of institutional quarantine procedures for (5) days to travellers, regardless of their immunization status outside the Kingdom, with the continued application of exceptions issued regarding some categories in this regard.

GACA confirmed that the work of these procedures will take effect as of Wednesday 01/12/2021.

GACA said that all carriers should continue to educate travellers about the importance of adhering to the application of all precautionary and preventive measures adopted in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
