Trump Announces Crushing Economic Warfare Against Iran and its Allies

Washington: US President Donald Trump has announced what he called the ‘most crushing economic operation’ against Iran after negotiations failed to reach a deal.
Trump said that the campaign would conduct enormous economic warfare and isolation against Iran's oil smuggling networks, cash transfers, exchange houses, ship registries, and front firms.
He also warned that any country that provided financial, commercial, or government assistance to Tehran would face tremendous economic consequences. Trump asked US partners to support the attempt to economically isolate Iran.
The declaration came after a 60-day negotiation period ended without a breakthrough, raising tensions between the US and Iran.
