Russian Drone Hits Nuclear Research Facility in Kyiv
A Russian drone struck the grounds of a nuclear research facility in Kyiv on Wednesday, causing a fire, according to Ukraine’s nuclear safety watchdog.
The regulator said the fire resulting from the attack was quickly extinguished and that no injuries were reported.
The facility’s test reactor was not damaged in the incident, the watchdog said. The reactor has remained shut down since 2022.
