Israel Strikes Lebanon as Regional Tensions Escalate
Israeli airstrikes hit southern Lebanon, killing at least 11 people, including three children, in the deadliest escalation since a June truce between Israel and Hezbollah, Lebanese authorities said. Israel said the strikes targeted Hezbollah infrastructure following an attack that injured three Israeli soldiers.
The strikes come as tensions remain high across the region amid the ongoing US-Israel conflict with Iran, with developments also unfolding around the Strait of Hormuz and in Yemen.
The latest violence has raised concerns that the fragile Lebanon truce could unravel and further widen the regional conflict.
