Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has introduced a suite of digital services designed to help visitors plan their trips and navigate the Prophet’s Mosque with greater ease.

Accessible through the authority’s official website, the platform offers a range of tools before and during visits, supporting a smoother and more convenient pilgrimage experience.

Key features include an interactive map of the Prophet’s Mosque, live crowd updates for the route to greet Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), real-time prayer area occupancy information, a visitor services portal, the Manarat Al Haramain platform, a worshipper’s guide, and a children’s hospitality centre.

The interactive map helps visitors locate facilities and essential services, while live crowd and occupancy updates enable worshippers to choose the best times for visiting the Rawdah and prayer areas.

The new digital platform also provides visitors with easy access to guidance, service information and support resources, reducing waiting times and helping them make informed decisions throughout their visit. By integrating multiple services into a single portal, the authority aims to simplify the pilgrimage journey for both local worshippers and international visitors.

The initiative is part of Saudi Arabia’s broader digital transformation efforts to improve access to services and enhance the overall experience for visitors to one of Islam’s holiest sites.
