Kuwait Shuts Iranian School
Kuwait’s Ministry of Education has ordered the closure of the country’s private Iranian school after revoking its educational license.
The ministry instructed the school to halt admissions for the 2026–2027 academic year and begin closure procedures.
The decision affects the only Iranian school in Kuwait, while authorities have not announced an official reason behind the move.
The Education Ministry’s decision comes amid heightened regional tensions involving Kuwait and Iran.
