US actor Jared Leto rejects new sexual misconduct claims

Washington: Jared Leto, an Oscar-winning actor and musician, has denied new allegations of sexual assault made by four women in a new BBC documentary, calling them "absolutely and categorically false."
The documentary Jared Leto: Hollywood's Dark Secret includes allegations from women who claim to have been minors during the alleged incidents between 2002 and 2016. The allegations include sexual assault, statutory rape, grooming, and sexually explicit conversations with minors.
Leto, 54, stated in a statement that he has ‘never sexually assaulted anyone’ and denied all charges against him. His representatives also accused the BBC of making ‘false claims’ despite being given with evidence refuting the allegations.
However, no criminal charges have been issued, and the allegations have not been proven in court. Leto has disputed similar allegations published in 2025.
