World's first AI judicial platform launched in UAE

ABU DHABI: The United Arab Emirates has launched what it describes as the world's first fully integrated AI-powered judicial platform, marking a significant step in the country's digital transformation strategy. 

The platform is designed to modernise the justice system by streamlining court procedures, improving operational efficiency and accelerating the delivery of legal services. The initiative supports the UAE's broader ambition to become a global leader in AI-driven government services.

The new platform connects judicial institutions through an integrated digital ecosystem that enables faster case processing, smarter data analysis and improved coordination across courts and legal authorities. 

By reducing paperwork and automating administrative processes, the system aims to shorten waiting times and enhance access to justice for individuals and businesses alike.

Artificial intelligence will assist judges, court staff and legal professionals by analysing case data, organising legal documents and providing intelligent insights that support, but do not replace, judicial decision-making.

 Human judges will continue to make all final legal rulings, while AI serves as a tool to improve efficiency and accuracy.

The launch reflects the UAE's continued investment in advanced technologies across public services. 

Officials believe the AI judicial platform will strengthen transparency, increase productivity and set a new global benchmark for technology-enabled governance, reinforcing the country's position as a pioneer in digital innovation and smart government.
