Washington DC: President Donald Trump has lauded the progress of indirect diplomatic talks between the United States and Iran, characterizing the recent sessions in Doha as ‘very good meetings’.
Speaking to reporters before boarding his new Qatar-gifted Air Force One aircraft, Trump expressed strong optimism regarding future regional stability.
The technical discussions in the Qatari capital focus on securing a lasting ceasefire and establishing safe shipping flows through the volatile Strait of Hormuz.
Trump asserted that the overarching goal remains the absolute denuclearization of Iran, noting that the process is moving along smoothly despite recent intense military clashes.
