Ellyse Perry's outstanding 71 off 48 balls and Georgia Voll's quick 39 helped Australia overcome an early setback to record 199/7 after deciding to bat. Nicola Carey and Annabel Sutherland's late contributions brought the number closer to 200.
Pakistan was knocked out for just 86 in 13.4 overs, and their pursuit failed to get momentum. Australia's bowlers shared the wickets in a commanding all-around performance, with Muneeba Ali leading the way with 32 and Perry taking two wickets.
The victory puts the six-time winners Australia on the edge of earning a semifinal spot, while Pakistan's fourth consecutive defeat finishes their campaign with no wins. Australia will next face India in a critical group-stage match.
