Two Missing US Citizens Found Dead Near Mexico City

Mexico City: Mexican authorities are investigating whether two bodies discovered in a clandestine grave near Mexico City belong to two US citizens who disappeared last month after relocating from Chicago.
The remains were found in a forested area outside the capital and are believed to be those of Zafar Padamsee Mawani and Guillermo Jafett Hidalgo, who were last seen on May 20.
Family members have told US media that the couple has been found dead. Local media reported that both men held dual US-Mexican citizenship.
The investigation comes after relatives reported suspicious activity in the couple's bank accounts in the days following their disappearance.
Authorities have not yet officially confirmed the identities of the bodies as investigations continue.
