Beijing : China's exports to the United States surged 35.4 percent year-on-year last month, official data showed on Tuesday, marking a sharp rebound in trade between the world's two largest economies.
According to China's General Administration of Customs, shipments to the United States reached $39 billion, up from $28.8 billion in the same month a year earlier, when exports had slumped amid trade tensions linked to President Donald Trump's tariff policies. The increase comes just weeks after Trump's visit to Beijing, where trade featured prominently in discussions between the two sides.
