Six Injured in Stabbing at New York's Penn Station

New York: The stabbing incident at New York's Penn Station on Sunday evening injured six individuals, according to authorities. A suspect got arrested on the scene. The attack occurred at around 7 p.m. local time inside one of the major transport hubs in the United States.
According to the New York Fire Department, one victim suffered serious injuries, two had moderate injuries, and others were treated for minor wounds. Five people were evacuated to Bellevue Hospital, and sixth one was taken to another medical centre. Officials stated that all victims are expected to survive.
The motive of the attack and if any of the victims were particularly targeted have not yet been revealed by the authorities. Officials are looking into the incident's circumstances under the supervision of Amtrak Police.
Just hours before Madison Square Garden is scheduled to host Game 3 of the NBA Finals, the stabbing occurred underneath the building amid increased security measures for the city's major sporting events.
