BMW Motorrad has unveiled its striking new concept motorcycle, the Vision K18, at the prestigious Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este in Italy.
The one-off vision bike blends luxury, performance and futuristic styling, offering a bold look at the future direction of BMW Motorrad design. Inspired by high-speed aircraft such as the Concorde, the Vision K18 features a long, sculpted silhouette designed to reflect motion and speed even while stationary.
At the heart of the concept is a powerful 1,800cc inline six-cylinder engine, a signature element of BMW’s engineering heritage. The motorcycle’s design revolves around the engine, with visible technical elements and six-themed styling cues including six air intakes, six tailpipes and six LED headlights.
BMW Motorrad said the Vision K18 reimagines long-distance riding as an emotional and sensory experience, combining handcrafted aluminum bodywork with advanced materials such as forged carbon. The bike also features a hydraulically lowerable suspension and actively cooled headlights.
The concept follows the design philosophy called “The Heat of Speed,” visually expressing power and performance through dramatic proportions and aviation-inspired details.
Markus Flasch, CEO of BMW Motorrad, said the Vision K18 demonstrates how the brand is redefining performance, luxury and emotion through bold engineering and distinctive design.
