Indian Expat Wins Dh25 Million in Abu Dhabi Big Ticket Draw

Abu Dhabi: A Dubai-based Indian expat has won the Dh25 million grand prize in the latest Big Ticket Abu Dhabi draw held on May 3.
The winner, Abdul Rasheed Allipra Valappil Abdu, bought his ticket in April and had been trying his luck for six years before finally hitting the jackpot.
When he received the call, he was in disbelief and asked if the news was real before thanking the organisers.
Abdu, a 48-year-old driver from Kerala living in Dubai, plans to discuss his next steps with his family before deciding how to use the prize money.
In addition to the grand prize, five other winners received Dh1 million each, while another participant won a luxury car in the Dream Car draw.
