Qatar condemns Washington shooting incident

The State of Qatar has strongly condemned a shooting incident that took place during a dinner reception hosted by the White House Correspondents’ Association at a hotel in Washington, D.C., which was attended by US President Donald Trump.
According to the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the incident resulted in the injury of a security personnel during the event.
Qatar reiterated its firm position rejecting all forms of violence and criminal acts, regardless of their motives or circumstances.
The Ministry also expressed Qatar’s full solidarity with the United States and extended wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured individual.
