His Majesty the Sultan, received Iran’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Abbas Araghchi, at Al Barakah Majestic Palace. Discussions focused on the latest regional developments and ongoing mediation efforts aimed at ending conflicts.

During the meeting, consultations were held on current tensions in the region and initiatives designed to promote de-escalation and political solutions. His Majesty was briefed on Iran’s perspective regarding recent developments, while the Iranian Foreign Minister listened to the Sultan’s views on advancing diplomatic efforts that could help achieve sustainable political settlements and reduce the impact of regional crises on affected populations.

His Majesty emphasized the importance of prioritizing dialogue and diplomacy as the foundation for addressing regional challenges, underlining that such an approach strengthens prospects for lasting peace and stability.

For his part, the Iranian Foreign Minister expressed his country’s appreciation for the Sultanate of Oman’s positions under His Majesty’s leadership in supporting dialogue and fostering regional security and stability, particularly amid ongoing regional challenges.
