Pakistan Cuts Fuel Prices as PM Sharif Signals Easing Regional Tensions

Islamabad: Shehbaz Sharif has announced a drop in fuel prices to give relief to people as tensions in the region begin to ease.
He said petrol prices have been reduced by 12 rupees per litre, while diesel prices have been cut by 135 rupees per litre. The government will also continue subsidies for motorcycles, public transport, and goods vehicles.
Sharif added that there is no longer talk of war in the Gulf, and that the situation is now moving more towards peace.
