Tehran: Iran has sought compensation from the United Arab Emirates, accusing it of enabling US attacks on Iranian territory.
In a letter, cited by Reuters, to the UN Secretary-General, Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, said allowing territory to be used for the strikes amounted to an “internationally wrongful act” that carries state responsibility.
Tehran has demanded reparations, including compensation for both material and moral damages resulting from the alleged attacks.
