Dubai: Emirates airline has announced the suspension of all flights to and from Dubai until further notice, urging passengers not to travel to the airport during the disruption.

In a post on X, the airline said the decision was taken to prioritise the safety of passengers and crew, adding that updates will be shared as soon as more information becomes available.

“Please do not go to the airport,” the airline said in an advisory, while thanking customers for their patience and understanding.

Passengers who were booked to travel between February 28 and March 31 have been offered flexible options. They may rebook on an alternate flight to their intended destination for travel on or before April 30, or request a refund if they no longer wish to travel.

Emirates said customers who booked through travel agents should contact their agents directly, while those who booked with the airline can request assistance through its official support channels.

The airline also confirmed that all city check-in points across Dubai are temporarily closed until further notice.

Passengers have been advised to ensure their contact details are updated in their bookings to receive the latest travel notifications.

Emirates reiterated that the safety of passengers and crew remains its highest priority.
