Gulf Journalists Union Unveils Digital Media Proposals
Dubai: A Gulf media committee has proposed drafting a Gulf Charter for Digital Media and launching a joint platform to track rumors and misinformation, aiming to boost credibility and unify professional standards.
The proposals were discussed at a virtual meeting on January 28, 2026, involving GCC journalist representatives, and will be submitted to the Gulf Journalists Union’s board for review.
