Estonia Unveils Digital Nation Blueprint at GITEX 2025
Estonia, a global pioneer in e-government and trusted digital public services, will present its Digital Nation Blueprint at GITEX 2025, inviting Gulf nations and global innovators to explore tested models for technology-driven growth and citizen-focused governance.
Led by H.E. Liisa-Ly Pakosta, Minister of Justice and Digital Affairs, the Estonian delegation includes seven cutting-edge technology firms representing the country’s broad innovation ecosystem — spanning cybersecurity, data interoperability, artificial intelligence, mobility, and secure communications.
“Estonia and the UAE prove there’s no single path to success,” said Minister Pakosta. “Estonia offers the experience of building a fully digital society where 100% of public services are online, while the UAE brings scale, speed, and vision to apply innovation across every sector. Collaboration allows us to learn from one another and turn digital capabilities into tangible outcomes for governments, businesses, and citizens.”
Shared Vision for Growth
Estonia’s participation underscores the shared ambitions between the Baltic nation and Gulf states, whose transformation agendas — such as We the UAE 2031 and Saudi Vision 2030 — echo Estonia’s innovation-led model for national growth.
The country’s presence at GITEX 2025 reaffirms its position as a strategic partner for progress, showcasing how collaboration between governments and tech ecosystems can accelerate diversification, improve public services, and enhance national resilience.
