Dad told he will wake up to receive new life in family... gets death news
A Saudi man took his wife and her mother to the hospital as she had all the symptoms of delivery.
He was told by the doctor to return home and rest as his wife is expected to deliver the baby in the early morning hours, and that they will call him and tell him when she delivers the baby.
However, when he woke up, he received a call which told him his wife, her mother, and their newly born baby died in a fire which broke at the Jazan Public Hospital last Thursday.
This story went viral on social media. In this fire, a total of 25 people died, including a child, and 123 were injured. The main cause of this fire is still under investigation, but the increase in fatalities was because the emergency exits were locked by chains.
According to eye witnesses, a woman tried to escape from the fire, and jumped from the fourth floor window and died.
This sad incident made many urged the Health Minister to take strict action and punishment against all those involved in the fire, and also locking the emergency exit.
