Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich issued a stark warning on social media on Monday, declaring “Tehran will shake” shortly after Israel reported detecting missile launches from Iran.
The brief but fiery statement was posted on X by Smotrich, a prominent far-right politician and close ally of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. His remarks come amid escalating tensions following what Israel describes as a breach of the ceasefire agreement by Iran.
Israel’s Defence Minister also announced that the military has been ordered to "respond forcefully" to the alleged Iranian attack. Iran, however, has not confirmed launching any missiles at this time.
The situation remains fluid, and international observers are closely monitoring for further developments.
