The birth of a new era

I am confident that the efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to carry out the responsibilities entrusted by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Alkhalifa will bear the desired results.

HRH’s accession to the role of Prime Minister is the birth of a new era.

I am very sure that the Kingdom of Bahrain is going to touch new heights of social and economic prosperity under the magnanimous and dynamic leadership of HRH the Crown Prince who has been providing excellent leadership to the Kingdom in various capacities earlier.

The impeccable credentials of HRH the Crown Prince will lead the country on the road towards joining the community of developed nations in ensuring world peace and justice for all nations of the world.

India and Bahrain have always enjoyed excellent bilateral relations characterized by cordial political, economic and cultural contacts.

With HRH the Crown Prince assuming responsibility as the Prime Minister, the bilateral relations of both countries will get an unprecedented momentum.

I consider it a great honour and privilege to have been part of the delegation accompanying HRH the Crown Prince during his very successful and fruitful visit to India.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa had paid a visit to the Indian state of Kerala on 17-18 March 2013. During the visit, the Indian leadership expressed their appreciation to the Bahraini leadership in ensuring the safety and welfare of the Indian community in the Kingdom.

The Crown Prince’s visit to Kerala emphasised the ongoing economic and trade cooperation building on existing agreements and understandings between India and the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The visit was also a tribute to the invaluable contribution of the Indian community throughout Bahrain society.

The Indian expatriate community here enjoys great goodwill from the Bahraini authorities and the employers alike.

I’m sure that under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Kingdom will attain a high level of competitiveness in a global economy.
