All new 2016 Infiniti Q70 - DT News Test Drive

The all-new 2016 Infiniti Q70 is a flagship model in brand’s line up and is the mark to its rivals like Audi, BMW and Merc. The model had already gone many upgrades both in style and mechanics and now it looks smarter, sharp and more refined than its previous versions.

Exterior:

Infiniti Q70 looks stunning from the outside with the lower lip integrated on the bumpers with an air damp and a large grill that is surrounded with chrome finish and with an Infiniti badging.  The Infiniti Q70 follows the Infiniti’s curvy design language and it is well proportioned on Infiniti Q70.  From the side it is a massive car with a big 245/40/20 inch alloy with a low profile rubber. This makes the Infiniti Q70 lower, wider and spottier looks both from the side and the front slant.

Interior:

The 2016 Infiniti Q70 bags with all-black sporty leather interior make the car’s interior more jaw-dropping. The interior comes with a bunch of features from the high quality leather steering wheels with tilt and telescopic adjustment with all types of controls like audio, cruise, and NAV integrated on the wheels. The car is having the magnesium paddle shift with an intelligent cruise control with Low speed following (LSF). The front seats are ventilated with memory settings for the drivers and of 10-way electrical seat adjustments. The central console of Infiniti Q70 is incredible with the Japanese Ash-wood inserts and loaded with a fully functioned 8-inch touch infotainment system with a 5.1DIN BOSE music server which makes and feel the car interior more extravagance. 2016 Infiniti Q70 is equipped with a dual-zone adaptive climate control AC.

Performance, Engine Spec and Safety

Under the hood, the Infiniti Q70 is a beast with a massive 3.7 liter V6 engine with a towering horsepower of 328 @7000 rpm and a 37 kg-m of torque @5200 rpm, with a 7 speed Automatic Transmission with manual  shift modes . Infiniti Q70 also comes with the Adaptive Shift control and lock up Torque converter. There are of different drive mode like Standard, Sport and Snow

 When it comes to the safety norms the Infiniti Q70 gives prior importance to the passengers with ample safety features.Infiniti Advanced Air bag System (AABS) wit dual –stage front supplemental air bags with seat belt sensors, driver and assist seat and curtain airbags. The seat belt is of 3-point seat belts with pretensioner and loader limiter. Infiniti Q70 is having a Independent Double wishbone with coil spring front suspension and a independent multi link rear which makes the car floating on the road, and speed sensing variable assist power rack and pinion steering makes the drive even better.
