Gulf Air has announced the restoration of 75 percent of its global network, marking a major step toward returning to full operations.
The national carrier of Bahrain said services have gradually resumed across the Middle East, Europe, the Indian Subcontinent, and Africa over recent weeks, reconnecting more passengers through the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to the airline, flights are currently operating to 40 destinations across 24 countries, representing three-quarters of its full network. Gulf Air added that additional flights and daily frequencies will continue to be introduced in phases, with full restoration targeted by June 1, 2026.
Martin Gauss praised the airline’s staff for maintaining continuity during the recovery period and reaffirmed Gulf Air’s commitment to providing reliable services and seamless connectivity through Bahrain.
He said the airline remains focused on delivering a travel experience that reflects the highest standards while steadily rebuilding its operations.
To support affected passengers, Gulf Air announced that customers with confirmed bookings until June 30, 2026, will receive one complimentary date change, with rebooking available until March 31, 2027.
The airline also confirmed the extension of FalconFlyer loyalty programme miles, points, and tier statuses that were due to expire between March and May 2026, with validity now extended until June 30, 2026.
Passengers have been encouraged to manage bookings through the airline’s website and mobile application.
