Emirates Aviation University (EAU) marked its 36th graduation ceremony, celebrating the achievements of 379 students who have completed their studies in aviation and related fields. Since its founding, EAU has graduated over 26,500 students and maintains a 94% employability rate, highlighting its role in preparing skilled professionals for the aviation and technology industries.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline and Group and Chancellor of EAU, awarded the graduates their certificates. He praised the new graduates, saying they are equipped with the skills, resilience, and ambition to lead in an era of digital transformation and innovation in aviation.
Senior Emirates Group executives, EAU faculty, management, and the graduates’ families cheered on the students during the ceremony, held at the EAU campus in Dubai.
Professor Ahmad Al Ali, Vice-Chancellor of EAU, said the graduating class reflects the university’s commitment to developing industry-ready professionals. “Our programmes are closely aligned with the needs of the aviation and technology sectors, ensuring graduates are prepared for an industry defined by rapid innovation,” he added.
The ceremony recognized students completing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in aviation management, aeronautical engineering, aircraft maintenance engineering, logistics, aviation safety, and other key fields.
As part of the Emirates Group, EAU offers students unique hands-on experience. In 2025, 130 interns trained with Emirates, with over 3,000 students benefiting from similar opportunities over the years, gaining practical skills at Emirates and dnata.
This year’s cohort includes 296 bachelor’s and 83 postgraduate students, including 28 fully sponsored engineering students and 121 UAE Nationals. EAU also honored 20 outstanding students across all disciplines for their excellence and leadership potential.
EAU emphasizes holistic education, combining academic learning with personal development. Students engage in hands-on projects, industry collaborations, and research initiatives, including showcasing innovative engineering and AI projects at the NextGen Leaders Programme during Dubai Airshow 2025.
