NMS organises Farhan Memorial basketball tournament

The New Millennium School, Bahrain, organized its Annual Farhan Memorial Basketball Tournament on the Monday. The tournament was initiated in 2018 in memory of an Alumni Mohammed Farhan, who left for his heavenly abode in a car accident in Bangalore.

The match was played between the students of Grade IX and XII in one team and the students of Grades X and XI in another team. The Grade IX and XII team emerged as ‘Winners’ with a sterling performance. The Guest of Honour was Nikhath Jabeen, Farhan’s Mother, who showered her blessings to the young players and expressed her gratitude to the school for conducting such a memoir.

Principal, Arun Kuumar Sharma, while addressing the students, revived the fond memories of Farhan as an obedient and enthusiastic student of the school and also reminded the students that they are the torch bearers of all the values that the school stands for and urged them to take up the responsibility with commitment and integrity.

Chairman Dr Ravi Pillai and Managing Director Mrs Geetha Pillai extended their sincere prayers for the departed soul and also applauded the zealous participation of the students in such a spirited tournament.
