Ronaldo brace propels Juve toward ninth successive Scudetto

Juventus were a step closer to a ninth straight Serie A title after a 2-1 win over Lazio on Monday, as Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace to go joint top scorer with the Romans' striker Ciro Immobile. The Bianconeri closed matchday 34 going eight points clear of Inter Milan and need four more from the last four games to secure the Scudetto. Lazio have the fourth Champions League slot virtually secured since fifth place Roma sit 11 points adrift.
