Bahrain takes part in Asian Paralympic Women’s Forum

The Bahrain Paralympic Committee took part in the inaugural Asian Paralympic Committee Women’s in Para Sport Seminar held in Taiwan from August 1 to 2, alongside representatives from national committees across the continent.
The Bahraini delegation was represented by Maryam Mattar and Dana Hassan, both senior administrative coordinators. The seminar focused on enhancing the role of women in para sports, covering topics such as coaching journeys, athlete-family balance, and gender equality challenges.
During the event, the Bahraini delegates met with Dr. Mu Ming-Chu, President of the Chinese Taipei Paralympic Committee, to explore opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange.
