The Avenues – Bahrain to resume summer activities
The Avenues-Bahrain announced the launch of a 10-day carnival, for the second consecutive year from August 22 to 31, 2019, as part of its summer activities. Famous international artists who performed in big cities like London, Italy, Japan and Argentina are set to showcase their talents at the Grand Avenue that combine circus tricks, theatre and comedy.
The Carnival is the latest addition to a series of exciting events and summer activities arranged by the Avenues-Bahrain, the largest sea-front leisure destination in the Kingdom. Activities started with a live stage performance of the well-acclaimed play ‘Aladdin and His Magic Lamp’, which dazzled visitors with music and choreographed performances. The show lasted for 3 days with 9 performances.
The Avenues-Bahrain also kicked off “Move at The Avenues”; a series of free morning workout classes held every Wednesday and Saturday starting 9 am for senior citizens, adults and kids in cooperation with UFC GYM Bahrain and the Capital Governorate. The programme aims to encourage people to stay fit and active throughout the summer and raise sports education in society.
