“Tamkeen” launches enhanced “Digital Enablement and AI Program”

In line with its ongoing efforts and continued commitment to advancing enterprise growth, the Labour Fund “Tamkeen” has announced the launch of the enhanced “Digital Enablement and AI Program”. The program aims to accelerate the digital transformation journey of Bahraini enterprises across various sectors while expanding growth opportunities to businesses, enabling them to achieve sustainable development and strengthen their competitiveness in local and global markets. 

The enhanced “Digital Enablement and AI Program” supports micro, small and medium sized enterprises in their digital growth journey by facilitating the adoption of digital technologies that enhance productivity, operational efficiency and competitiveness. The program provides support for the adoption of digital solutions and services aligned with operational needs, contributing to achieving sustainable growth and accelerating digital transformation. Tamkeen’s support covers up to 50% of eligible costs related to software solutions and related services. 

The program is an enhanced version of Tamkeen’s “Digital Enablement” Program, which was launched to support enterprises in their digital transformation journey. The enhanced program offers businesses a broader range of options and greater flexibility to benefit from advanced digital solutions tailored to their diverse needs. This contributes to improving operational efficiency, increasing productivity, and supporting long-term growth and sustainability. 

This program aligns with Tamkeen’s strategic priorities for 2026, which focus on areas with the highest impact on the economy and Bahrainis. It also reflects Tamkeen’s role in shaping career pathways through programs that connect skills with opportunities in the labor market, adopting innovative approaches to stimulate private sector growth and financing and implementing programs that enhance the Fund’s efficiency and effectiveness by developing internal mechanisms and continuously strengthening governance.
