Alba Line 6 Smelter records 20m Man-Hours Without LTI
Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba) announced that its Line 6 Smelter Project recorded 20 million man-hours without Lost Time Injury (LTI) in the first week of September 2018.
Alba Line 6 Smelter Project held a celebratory ceremony to mark this occasion with the attendance of the Line 6 Alba as well as contractor teams. This milestone was dually-achieved by employees and contractors partnering on the Line 6 Smelter Project with Safety as a core common value.
Commenting on this occasion, Alba’s Chief Executive Officer Tim Murray said: “I commend the Line 6 Smelter Project teams on achieving this Safety milestone. Through our commitment and dedication to safe best practices, we are confident to deliver the First Hot Metal on 01 January 2019.”
