Eskan Bank launches fourth edition of Kafaat Training Programme

As part of its ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility and support for Bahrainization initiatives, Eskan Bank has launched the fourth edition of its Kafaat Training Programme, reaffirming its commitment to developing Bahraini talent and preparing the next generation of professionals for successful careers in the Kingdom’s banking sector.

Now in its fourth consecutive year, the programme underscores Eskan Bank’s commitment to developing human capital in the financial sector and fostering a sustainable pipeline of qualified Bahraini talent, in line with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s efforts to enhance workforce readiness and strengthen the competitiveness of national talent in the labour market. The programme was also designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical workplace experience, by equipping participants with the technical knowledge, professional skills, and industry exposure needed to thrive in today’s competitive job market.

‘Kafaat’ provides Bahraini graduates with a comprehensive training experience through job rotations across Eskan Bank’s various departments and divisions, complemented by mentoring, coaching, and professional development programmes. This enables participants to gain practical, hands-on experience and develop a deeper understanding of the financial services sector.

Previous editions of the programme have resulted in several outstanding participants joining Eskan Bank’s workforce, reflecting the programme’s success in attracting, developing, and retaining talented Bahraini professionals.

Commenting on the launch of the fourth edition of the programme, Ms. Reem Albinali, Senior Manager of Human Resources at Eskan Bank said: "Investing in Bahraini talent is one of the Eskan Bank’s strategic priorities. Through the ‘Kafaat’ programme, we continue to provide meaningful opportunities for young Bahrainis to gain practical experience and develop their professional capabilities, helping to prepare highly skilled national talent capable of supporting the continued growth of Bahrain's financial sector. The fact that several programme graduates have gone on to join the Bank also reflects the initiative’s positive and lasting impact."

She also added: "The 'Kafaat' programme offers a comprehensive professional development experience that combines hands-on training, one-on-one mentoring, and collaboration with industry specialists and experts, equipping participants with the skills and confidence to succeed in today’s evolving banking environment."

Through the 'Kafaat' programme, Eskan Bank continues to invest in young Bahraini talent and strengthen its contribution to the Kingdom’s economy and support the sustainable growth of the financial services sector.
