Forget oil wells and financial towers; Bahrain’s future is shimmering with a new kind of fire—the fire of entrepreneurial spirit. At the helm of this revolution stands the Minister of Youth Affairs, Her Excellency Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, a powerhouse leader flanked by a crack team of industry titans.
Their mission is to unleash the untapped potential of young Bahrainis and ignite an entrepreneurial inferno that propels the kingdom’s economic future. The spark was struck during a high-profile meeting with the policy team of “Lamae,” a national project aimed at nurturing promising youth leaders.
Minister Tawfiqi, eyes ablaze with conviction, declared entrepreneurship the key to unlocking innovation, growth, and economic stability. Around the table, industry giants like Ahmed Ashoor of GARMCO, Sawsan A. Latif of SICO BSC, Rawan Ashoor of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the esteemed mentor Nada Al Qassab joined forces with Fajer Al Pachachi, the General Manager of Hope Ventures. This formidable alliance was a testament to the collaborative spirit fuelling Bahrain’s economic ascent.
Bouquet of initiatives

The Ministry of Youth Affairs has launched a bouquet of initiatives like Youth City 2023, Youth Market, Little Merchant, and Garage Sale for people of determination, providing fertile ground for young Bahrainis to plant their entrepreneurial seeds.
Hope Ventures, under Al Pachachi’s leadership, has taken things a step further. Their “Biban” initiative, now in its third edition, throws open the doors of investment and opportunity for promising projects, breathing life into His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s vision for a thriving Bahrain.
