With a dazzling display of poetic prowess, an exceptionally gifted Indian student residing in Bahrain has masterfully woven her emotions into the verses that elegantly adorn the pages of her debut book, “Heartstrings.”

The literary gem penned by Kaashvi Subin Jagdish was unveiled on the grand stage of the "India in Bahrain Festival" by Indian Embassy Second Secretary Ihjas Aslam C.S. Dr. Abdul Khader Mangad, former Vice-Chancellor of Kannur University, India, and a renowned author, lent his insightful preface to the anthology, elevating “Heartstrings” to a new literary zenith.

Published by PadmaSree Books, India, the book launch was further adorned by the presence of author and PadmaSree founder Nalappadam Padmanabhan. His endorsement marked the celebration of Kaashvi’s literary achievement.

“Heartstrings” is not just a book; it’s an anthology that delves into the intricacies of Love, Loss, and Pain through three evocative sections. A total of 51 captivating poems, 17 in each section, paint a vivid tapestry of emotions that resonate with readers on a profound level.

Kaashvi’s roots trace back to the loom-rich and lore-steeped land of Kannur in the Indian state of Kerala, and her journey began in Kuwait, where she was born and raised by her parents, Jisha Kaniyankandi and Subin Jagdish.

A Bhavanite since her LKG days, she currently navigates the corridors of knowledge as a Grade 10 student at Bhavan’s Bahrain Indian School. Beyond her academic pursuits, Kaashvi is an avid reader and art enthusiast, with a passion for Bharatanatyam and Veena since the tender age of five.

Her journey through the realms of literature, dance, and music has paved the way for the poetic marvel that is “Heartstrings.” The book is now available, waiting to tug at the heartstrings of readers, at the Bookmart in Bahrain. Kaashvi Subin Jagdish, with her debut masterpiece, has indeed created a symphony of emotions that promises to resonate with audiences far and wide.
