Bahrain, UK ‘must strengthen ties and cooperation’

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has highlighted the depth and strength of Bahrain-UK relations which continue to advance with the support of the leaderships of the two Kingdoms.
HRH Prince Salman noted the importance of continuing to strengthen bilateral cooperation to achieve joint development and progress.
His Royal Highness was speaking as he met yesterday with the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Member of Parliament, the Rt Hon Theresa May, at Riffa Palace.
During the meeting, the latest regional and international developments and issues of common interest were also discussed.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Charity Educational Endowment, and the Minister of Finance and National Economy, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
