HM King’s constant ‘care’ for Bahrainis

Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh praised the continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to ensure the availability of vaccines and comprehensive healthcare services for all citizens and residents across Bahrain.

He also commended the dedication and sacrifice of the medical, nursing and administrative staff. The Shura Council chairman affirmed that the step taken by the government to establish a new factory for producing COVID-19 vaccines in Bahrain, in cooperation with Russia, represents a milestone in the Kingdom’s healthcare system and a boost to Bahrain’s cooperation with the international community to combat the pandemic.

He hailed the pivotal role played by the Health and Foreign Ministries in coordinating with the countries to ensure the Bahraini communities there receive vaccines as per the systems and regulations of those countries.

Council of Representatives Speaker Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal also lauded His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s directives to start vaccinating Bahrainis residing abroad against the coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Speaker asserted that the sound royal directives are part of HM the King’s constant care and keenness to ensure the safety and health of everyone.

They also reflect the kingdom’s interest in following up on the affairs of its citizens wherever they are, in line with the unwavering efforts of the government, led by HRH Prince Salman, as well as the close follow-up of Team Bahrain, she added.

Council of Representatives member Dr Hesham Ahmed Al Asheeri said that HM the King’s fatherly care for his people, locally and abroad confirms Bahrain’s fundamental approach that the citizens are the ultimate goal of all national efforts.

Dr Al Asheeri indicated that HM King Hamad’s humanitarian initiative is part of the series of steps to provide vaccines free of charge for all members of the Bahraini society, in addition to HM’s directives to provide the best health services for all.

Supreme Council of Health (SCH) President Lieutenant General Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, head of the National Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus (COVID-19), lauded the royal humanitarian vision to ensure the health and safety of all Bahrainis wherever they are.

Dr Shaikh Mohammed praised the unrelenting follow-up of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, stressing his successful leadership of Team Bahrain in carrying out plans to deal with the pandemic.
